The more that I learn about modern web development and HTML5, the more I am feeling like the web can complete with RAIs that I have been developing in tools like Qt. I really hope Adobe is taking a good, long look at their situation, because they may end up having to retreat back to video and publishing as flash is hurled into irrelevancy.
The Glory And Wonder of HTML5

I personally don’t think flash is going anywhere, mostly because with HTML5 there is no way to protect your content from being downloaded. Of course there are sites that let you yoink videos and such, but it needs more effort than just a right click like with HTML5 elements.
I am going to continue my psychic assault on Adobe and pretend they are going to be destroyed by open standards; rejecting reality and substituting my own warm and fuzzy alternative wrapped in a cloak of childlike fascination and beauty.
