Geek come-ons & pickup lines

Cheesy guys have always used tacky come-ons to pick up ladies. I am sure there are some in latin, traded in some long-lost Roman version of “Capt. Billy’s Whiz-Bang“. Geeks, though, have never done well in this department. Sure, we think about it all the time, but usually geek success can be measured by a formula like p=1-\frac{1}{g}, where p is the chance of successfully hooking up with the gender of said geek’s choice, and g is just how nerdy the particular geek is (1 being maximally geeky).

I believe the problem is that there aren’t many come-ons for geeks. There aren’t. Can you think of one? There are a lot of mundane ones…

  • Do you believe in love at first sight or do I have to walk by again?
  • Are you a parking ticket? Cause you got FINE written all over you.

I have been trying to come up with some for geeks to use, but have only managed one. Here it is:

“Baby, you must be in version control, because I’ve been checking you out all night.”

If you have another, feel free to throw it in the comments.

I was looking around at geek pick up lines and found this one, which amuses me:

“You must’ve been made by Intel to be that hot!”

    AH HAHAHAHA.

  2. Hey baby, do you like curry? Cuz, I’ve been thinking of putting my function in your function.

Hey, I hope you don’t like rubies, cuz I’ve got a Python for you.

And on a somewhat related note, my yo’ mama:
    – Yo’ mama is so ultra wide and scuzzy, she can take 68 pins between her legs.

    Ah haha.

    Nerdy/scientific sex positions

I wish there was a way for you to allow images for approved users so I could just insert it instead of linking. There might be one but it’d take some digging I bet.

Just for your information, it is trivial to do. WordPress has a file called kses.php which handles filtering out allowed/unallowed tags. It is just necessary to add img and the attributes which are allowed on it for the filter to permit those.
